The Alabama BNF Retreat is a relaxing time for nurses and other medical professionals to re-connect and refresh relationships and professional skills. Continuing education units are awarded by NurCE. Date: October 22-23, 2010
Place: Shocco Springs Conference Center
Time: Begins Friday at 5:30 P.M. with dinner and concludes Saturday around 2:00 P.M.
Cost: $122.00 for private accommodations ~ $102 for semi-private accommodations

Dr. Patricia Hart Terry is a highly respected nutritionist with more than 30 years of experience as a registered and licensed dietitian. She is chair of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Terry is an editor and author. In addition to her book, Made for Paradise, she writes a newspaper column, In Season. She is involved with professional and volunteer organizations and is an active member of Baptist Nursing Fellowship.
Kathy Boswell is the Director of Community Relations with Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham Alabama. If you ask her if she loves her job she will tell you that she has a JOY and not a job. The opportunity to work in a place where she is able to focus on her four passions is a JOY and a dream come true. Kathy is a certified Group fitness instructor. She has been teaching for over twelve years. Kathy has taught at local fitness centers, clubs, churches, and with Samford University’s Recreation Program.
