Alabama Challenge Team
The Alabama Challenge Team is made up of teen girls who exemplify Christ as they represent Alabama WMU in various ways.
Are you or someone you know a girl age 15 or older who takes leadership among her school, friends, and church group? Would you like an opportunity to plan a statewide girls event and inspire your peers across the state to become movers and shakers for the Lord?
The Alabama Challenge Team is for girls who have completed 10th grade and above and are interested in gaining experiences like:

Helping plan COMPLETE (our statewide girls conference in March) at our annual Challenge Team Retreat in the fall.

Representing Alabama Acteens and Girls Ministry at various events to share your journey with Acteens and writing pieces for Alabama WMU's newsletter, Panorama.

Gaining eligibility to apply for a missions scholarship!
To apply for the Alabama Challenge Team you...

Must be entering the 10th grade or be 15 years old by September 1st.

Must be an active member of a local Acteens or Girls Ministry group an an active member of a Southern Baptist Church in Alabama.

Must agree to serve from September 1 to August 31. Team members may participate in COMPLETE programming as well as other Acteens promotion and/or state sponsored events.

Must submit your application to Alabama WMU by the application deadline.
Challenge Team Applications must include most recent and clearest passport size photo, parents signature, Acteens Advisor/Director's signature, and requested paragraphs. Only fully completed applications will be considered.
Challenge Team Applications will be accepted beginning the first Monday of November through August 15, 2024.
